Rifiled tubes useage in boiler evapourator.

In our newly being erected 300 MW sub critical boiler the boiler evapourator tubes are supplied with rifiled tubes instead of normal plain tubes Inside portion rifiled. What is the reason for giving rifiled tube? Give me a detailed explaination
