    • Sea Water Desalination for Raw Use in Power Station - Thursday, January 28, 2010 - Roger [405] 1 Stars
I am assisting to prepare a specification of desalination factilities for power station. The basic requirement of the factilities is as follows,

      1, desalinated water production rate 2 x 175m3/hr

2, desalination technology: has to be reservse osmosis

In preparing such specification, I would like to do some reaserch and comparison on the following about the desalination factilities from different major suppliers e.g DOW, GE Waters, Siemens Water Technology, etc.

~ Operating cost how much money for each m3 of dsalinated water
      ~ Electricity consumption rate
~ incoming raw water quality requirement
      ~ basic schematic diagram
      ~ patented technologies

I would be grateful if someone can tell me where I can find this information.

I would just ring up the local rep and invite him for a talk.
But you could do what this guy did http://www.membrane-guide.com/download/tenderroom/0510-bharatpetroleum.pdf

Hi Jim, Thanks! I think there is no easy way to get the information I mentioned. Thanks for the sample bidding document as a reference for the specification we are preparing here.

          Roger
